Portfolio Consulting is Ian Lalonde. I have built software and run technology businesses for 27 years: eleven as general manager of a full-service IT company, and before that its business development and application development lead. For the past year I have been the operations and systems lead at a 40-person structural engineering firm in Vancouver, where I built the systems this site describes.

I am not an engineer and I do not seal drawings. I build the systems around the engineering, so the people who do it can spend their hours on it.
